Watching the Game? You’re Going to Need Mozzarella Sticks.

Here are three great recipes that will take your game watching party to the next level.

Slow Cooker Buffalo Queso Dip

Throw these ingredients into your slow cooker and then walk away while the magic is made. 

Ingredients

8 ounce diced cream cheese

2 cups salsa verde

1/2 cup sour cream

1 Tbsp minced garlic

2 cups cheddar jack cheese, shredded

1/3 cup jarred buffalo sauce

salt and pepper to taste

Mozzarella sticks, meatballs, loaded potato skins, or your other favorites for serving

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients except mozzarella sticks into a slow cooker
  • Cook on low heat for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes
  • Serve while warm.

Spicy Pepperoni Sauce

A zippy marinara dipping sauce is a favorite for lovers of mozzarella sticks. Kick things up a notch – or two – with this spicy pepperoni dip.

Ingredients

1 jar of your favorite marinara pasta sauce

1 Tbsp olive oil

30 slices of pepperoni, diced

2 Tbsp minced garlic

2 Tbsp finely diced sweet onion

1/2 – 3/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1/2 Tbsp dried oregano

2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil

Mozzarella Sticks

Directions

  • Heat olive oil in large sauté pan over medium heat. Sauté pepperoni, garlic, and onion for 5-10 minutes until onions are translucent.
  • Stir in crushed red pepper flakes, oregano, and marinara sauce. Raise heat to medium high and heat through, stirring constantly.
  • Add fresh basil and remove from heat.
  • Meanwhile, bake mozzarella sticks per package instructions. 
  • Serve dip warm and enjoy.

Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip

This easy dip is sure to be a crowd favorite. 

Ingredients

1 box of frozen Farm Rich Loaded Potato Skins

1 box of frozen Farm Rich Mozzarella Sticks

8 ounces frozen spinach

2 small cans artichoke hearts

8 ounces of cream cheese

1/2 cup mayo

1/4 cup regular sour cream

1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese, divided

1 1/4 cup grated Monterey jack cheese, divided

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

pinch salt

Directions

  • Prepare Potato Skins and Mozzarella Sticks per package instructions.
  • Boil the frozen spinach, drain, and squeeze out all the water.
  • Chop artichoke hearts into small pieces in a food processor.
  • Mix the cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, 1 cup of the Parmesan cheese, 1 cup of the Monterey jack cheese, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and salt and stir until combined.
  • Add the drained spinach and chopped artichoke hearts and combine thoroughly.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish, top with the remaining cheeses, and bake for 15-18 minutes at 375 degrees.
  • Serve dip hot with warm mozzarella sticks and potato skins for dipping.
